The "Angus M" was built in Whitby, Ontario by McNamara Cosntruction. She was sold to Sorel Tug Boats Inc. in Sorel, QC in 1992 and her name was changed to "Omni Sorel". She worked in the St Lawrence River until 1999 when she was drydocked at Isle Aux Coudres, QC. She was renamed the Joyce B. Gardiner in 2002 and was moved to Sault Ste Marie, Ontario by Gardiner Marine. She was purchased by Purvis Marine Ltd in 2008 and was renamed the WJ Isaac Purvis.
