Welcome to the 'The Great Tugboat Race' website!
A tugboat is a boat that maneuvers vessels by pushing or towing them. Tugs move vessels that either should not move themselves, such as ships in a crowded harbor or a narrow canal, or those that cannot move themselves alone, such as barges, disabled ships, or oil platforms.
Our organization is very similar to a tugboat, in that we assist people who cannot help themselves because of a disability. Our main objective is helping challenged children and it is something that we have done since 1982. That, in itself, deserves a master salute.
The 2013 Great Tugboat Race takes place on Saturday, June 29th 2013 at 12:00 Noon.
