The Great Tugboat Race

Dollar Boat

The Dollar Boat was built by Steve Powell in Port Maitland as a commercial fishing vessel. Powell agreed and, with a $1.00 deposit, construction began. Hence the name, The Dollar Boat. When Bob bought her, she had been sitting in a St Catherines back yard for 5 years. She sat a few more years in Bob's yard while he made her ship shape.
